Individual letters are made from a variety of materials for different applications. They are not illuminated themselves, however they can be illuminated from an external source such as flood or spotlights. For illuminated individual letters, see Channel Letters. Individual letters are 3 dimensional, they have a visible thickness unlike vinyl letters.

Individual letters are one of the most used forms of signage for companies or institutions that do not require internal illumination. Sometimes they are used in combination with illuminated letters. So many looks are achievable and they provide you with a very professional look.

Externally they are used in industrial parks, medical & professional buildings, churches and schools, office complexes and some retail establishments to name a few.

Internally they are used extensively in corporate environments in lobbies and reception areas where portraying the perfect image is of utmost importance. They can be in custom shapes and sizes. The faces of the letters can be painted or a laminate (like marble or brushed gold) can be applied. The letters can also be applied to a background of your choice to make a truly unique statement.
