WHAT IS IT?

Window graphics is lettering and/or graphics applied directly to your glass windows or doors. In an office or industrial environment, it may be your logo and the name of your company. Window lettering is also used internally in larger buildings such as hospitals, hotels or multi tenant buildings to display hours of operation, identify rooms or list rules. In a retail location, it may be a complete advertising display.

IS IT EXPENSIVE?

Window graphics are extremely affordable when compared to illuminated or even other non-illuminated alternatives of an equal size. For that reason, many start-up businesses will use window graphics to display the name of their company. at least until they can afford the more expensive alternatives.

Another advantage to window lettering is that it can be long term (5 years, 10 years) depending on your lease - or -- it can be short term for seasonal specials. It can be applied indoors (if you don't have window tinting) or outdoors. It is removable with a razor blade. Some people worry that people will pick it off, however that is seldom a real concern. If you do live in an area where that is a problem the graphics can usually be installed on the inside of the glass.

IS IT A GOOD BUSINESS INVESTMENT?

If you spend $300.00 on window graphics and you keep it on for just 5 years, that's $5.00/month. How many extra sales/month would it take to pay for this advertising? The real question to ask your self as a businessperson is; what is it costing me per month in lost sales, if I don't take advantage of window lettering? There are not many things we can spend our advertising dollar on that pays for itself over and over and over. Window lettering, as well as other on premise signs represent a form of advertising that does repeatedly pay for itself.
